On a very sunny and memorable Sunday (it was 11th November), a group of U3a Members set off from Calpe to Los Barrios in Spain, close to the Gibraltar barrier. We were greeted onto the coach by our driver Paco. Just before 11am Tony Stevens, a loyal British Legion Member, quoted the poem below followed by a minute’s silence.
